my father and i took this trip in 2022 when i was actively thinking about new and interesting ways to photograph nature. I spent my entire life living by the beach in jersey, so choosing to explore the dessert was exactly what i needed to do, to challenge myself.
this trip really was one for the books. In order to find all of this subject matter, a great deal of hiking was necessary and not at all something i was prepared for. 8-10 HOURS AT A TIME WHILE KEEPING FIBROMYALGIA AT BAY WAS NOT EASY. IN FACT, KEEPING MY SYMPTOMS IN CHECK WAS NOT POSSIBLE AT ALL YET SOMEHOW THE TRIP WAS STILL WORTH IT.
MY HOPE FOR THIS WORK IS FOR IT TO SPEAK TO YOU IN THE SAME GRANDEUR IT SPEAKS TO ME.
