limited vs. unlimited editions
limited means a certain print will only be made a certain number of times and will never be made again in the future. if an image will be sold in an edition of 10, the price will start at its lowest at 1st buy and increases until the final one is sold. pricing is determined by how large or small each edition is. smaller editions will start at a higher price point.
(note: images that are only printed as limited editions will be marked with an asterisk (*).)
unlimited prints are offered at a lower price point, though there is a no way to know how many of each image will exist in the world.
“how to choose which is best for me?”
if you are looking to add rarity and exclusivity to your collection, shopping limited edition is for you. this route increases investment value right away and will only increase over time.
there is much more flexibility and variety available for unlimited prints. there are more options on sizing and price points start lower. if you are new to collecting art or just looking to decorate a space, this might be best.
What’s the process?
in order to ensure the quality of my prints is exactly where it should be, I had to choose the best lab in the industry. That’s where i found the picturehouse and small darkroom in NYC. there, they develop and scan my negatives.
the next step is to create the prints. it is extremely important that the most professional, musium/archival grade paper is used. This ensures the photograph does not age with time! the same lab is used for this.
each print will have my signature and come with a certificate of authenticity. You can be certain that each one is made with the utmost care and with me being there every step of the way.
